Digital Libraries

DescriptionDigital Libraries

The digital library is an excellent way to collect, repackage and repurpose existing materials and produce a new and valuable information resource.

Our digital libraries contain digital volumes collected across a span of time.  For example, a digital library might include an organization's meeting proceedings from their last 20 annual meetings, or each of the journal articles collected from the last 30 years of their professional journals.

A digital library is organized much like a digital volume and can deliver the same features.  Often, a library is meant to grow over time: This year you might purchase the library containing all meeting proceedings over the last 20 years.  Next year, you might purchase the library that contains 21 years of proceedings.

Applications

Consider using a Digital Library with the Search and Retrieval Tool for:

  • Multi-year collections of Meeting Proceedings.
  • Multi-year collections of Journal Articles.
  • Any other collection of materials that might be accumulated over a period of time.

Features

Digital Libraries offer the same features as Digital Volumes.
